Kettlebell Deadlift

The kettlebell deadlift starts standing over the bell with your feet hip-width apart, then hinges down to grip the handle with both hands and a flat back. Driving through your feet back to standing trains the glutes, hamstrings and lower back as a hip hinge. Beginners use it in the gym or at home for weight and reps before moving to a barbell or trap bar.

Form cues
- Keep the kettlebell close to your shins throughout.

Common mistakes
- Lower back rounds as you reach for the handle. Hinge your hips back and keep your chest up.
