Revolved triangle is a standing yoga pose built from a forward fold with the hips kept square to the front. It stretches the hamstrings and works the obliques through a spinal twist, with the top arm reaching skyward. Intermediate practitioners use it in yoga, held for time as a warmup, cooldown or recovery flow.

How to
- Step one foot back, both legs straight, hips square.
- Hinge forward and place your opposite hand by the front foot.
- Rotate your chest open, top arm reaching up.
- Hold the twist, then switch sides.
Form cues
- Press your back foot flat to stay grounded.
- Lengthen your spine before you fold forward.
- Keep both hips facing the same direction.
Common mistakes
- Back leg bends and loses its line. Press both legs straight throughout the hold.
- Top hip opens up toward the ceiling. Stack your hips directly on top of each other.
- Head tilts back too far during the twist. Keep your neck long and gaze forward instead.
