Incline Bench Press
- Intermediate
- Gym
The incline bench press is done on an angled bench, feet planted and your eyes under the bar, gripping slightly wider than shoulder-width. The upward angle shifts more load onto the upper chest and front delts than a flat bench, while the triceps still assist. Intermediate lifters use it in the gym for weight and reps, as a main lift or a finisher.

- Exhale as you press the bar back up.
- Squeeze the bar hard throughout the press.
Common mistakes
