Band Standing Chest Press

Anchoring a resistance band behind you at chest height and standing in a staggered stance, you press both hands forward until your arms extend, then return with control. The movement trains the chest, front delts and triceps as a standing compound push. Beginners use it for reps at home or in the gym as a lighter alternative to a chest press machine.

- Return to your chest with control, resisting the band.
Form cues
- Keep your front knee soft, not locked out.
- Press evenly through both hands at once.
- Exhale as you press the band forward.
Common mistakes
